Artist Susan Lordi creates and carves by hand each original Willow tree ornament. Pieces are cast from this original and all are hand painted in soft washed colours.
Simplicity and lack of facial features signify the Willow tree figures, with expression shown through gestures - a tlit of the head, placement of hands.
It is Susan's hope that her intimate figurines are meaningful to both the giver and the reciever, with family members, friends and loved ones all represented in the range.
Inside each box is a descriptive card giving the title of the piece and what it represents.
